ArteKino Festival 2017 - The European Film Festival

Franco-German broadcaster Arte, in collaboration with the Institut Fran├žais and Festival Scope, have launched the second edition of ArteKino, a new pan-European film festival.

Between 1st and 17th December, ArteKino Festival offers to film lovers from 45 European countries 50000 free tickets to discover online a selection of 10 films over 17 days.
These films will be available in four languages: French, German, English and Spanish.

Colo, directed by Teresa Villaverde (Portugal/France)
Godless, directed by Ralitza Petrova (Bulgaria/France/Denmark)
The Giant, directed by Johannes Nyholm (Sweden/Denmark)
Scarred Hearts, directed by Radu Jude (Romania/Germany)
Soleil Battant, directed by Clara & Laura Laperrousaz (France/Portugal)
Living and Other Fictions, directed by Jo Sol (Spain)
The Last Family, directed by Jan P. Matuszynski (Poland)
Frost , directed by Sharunas Bartas (Lithuania/France/Ukraine/Poland)
Bright Nights, directed by Thomas Arslan (Germany/Norway)
Chevalier, directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari (Greece)

This selection of films is representative of the eclecticism and the audacity of the new European productions with productions from young and upcoming directors as well as established filmmakers.
