Screening: ’Des Femmes et des Hommes’

The AF Glasgow, in partnership with the Institut Français du Royaume-Uni and the NGO Le projet imagine, will present you the documentary Des femmes et des hommes . This screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Frédérique Bedos.

The film offers an in-depth look at persistent gender inequality revealing surprising economic and social advantages of women empowerment. Equality is the path to progress!

Café histoire: “Rêve de droite” , “Rêve de gauche” : la vie politique française de 1970 à nos jours.

1969. Les Français désapprouvent le Général de Gaulle. L’homme des tempêtes qui avait pour coutume de dire : « je ne suis pas d’un côté, je ne suis pas de l’autre, je suis pour la France » doit se retirer. En lui succédant, Georges Pompidou ouvre une nouvelle ère de la vie politique française qui s’achèvera avec le « coup de tonnerre » de 2002.


Wednesday 30th March, 6pm

Screening: ’Les gens du Monde’

The Alliance Francaise de Glasgow will host a screening of the film ”˜Les gens du Monde’ followed by a Q&A with director Yves Jeuland.
