Every year, the association "Défense de la langue française" organises a writing competiton called "La plume d’or"!
"La plume d’or" is an international competition run in more than 50 countries every year! Designed for advanced students of Alliance Française, "La plume d’or" doesn’t require any specific preparation. La Plume d’Or is organised by The French group "Défense de la langue française" which comes up with a series of questions and a written expression assignment. Candidates can take part on March 25th (as part of "Semaine de la francophonie"). Participants get certificates of appreciation. The winner of the competition will be invited in Paris for a couple days in spring 2010, during "la semaine de la francophonie".
