The Alliance Française and the Goethe Institute Glasgow present an exceptional literary evening.
“How ludicrous can borders be, that left French readers ignorant of Anne-Lise Grobety” wrote literary critic Françoise Giroux. Anne-Lise Grobety is Swiss. She trained as a journalist and published her first two novels when she was barely 20. After having raised two children and lead a political career, she resumed writing and very successfully so. Anne-Lise will present her collection of short stories “La fiancée d’hiver” at an exceptional event at Alliance Française. Appearing will also be her German translator Irma Wehrli.
