On the Trail of Braveheart ...
French author Béatrice Balti will appear at the Alliance Française and will discuss her latest historic novel “William Wallace: le cri de la liberté” with Wallace specialist David Ross on Wednesday 18th November, at 7pm. The deeds and death of Sir William Wallace, the 13th century hero and Scottish patriot, have captured the imagination of Beatrice Balti. She comes to Scotland, to share her views with Wallace specialist, writer and historian David Ross. David is the author of the acclaimed “On the Trail of William Wallace”, “On the Trail of Robert the Bruce” and “On the Trail of Bonnie Prince Charlie.” His “Desire Lines” is an inspiring journey round Scotland which takes the reader to some of the lesser known places of history and intrigue that dot the Scottish landscape. David is also convenor of the Society of William Wallace. The book launch followed by wine reception will take place at the Alliance Française de Glasgow on Wednesday 18th November, at 7pm.
