The Alliance Française de Glasgow is a Scottish not-for-profit organisation established in 1982.
We are recognised by France as the official Language and Cultural Centre for Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
With over 40 years of experience, we are proud to record more than 1,500 enrolments each year from students eager to learn and engage with French language and culture. Our energy is driven by the people who share our belief in building bridges between cultures, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and loyalty our members have shown us over the years.
The long-standing reputation of our teaching centre is built on a modern and engaging pedagogical approach, delivered in a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable practising French, building confidence and socialising. Our beautiful premises at Park Circus feature fully equipped classrooms and a multimedia library offering access to nearly 8,000 books and resources, alongside a wide range of digital content, all providing an inspiring setting for learning.
Our team organises a wide range of cultural events, for all ages and levels, creating a friendly and accessible space for anyone curious about French language and culture — whether they are learning French with us or simply looking to enjoy a taste of France in the heart of Glasgow!
