Meet Nabila Lakouraï, our new Directrice at Alliance française Glasgow!
With two Master's degrees – one in Education and Training, the other in Sociolinguistics – Nabila brings
over 15 years of experience in international cooperation, particularly in the education sector, as well as in promoting plurilingualism.
Her international journey has taken her from France to Panama, the UK, and Saudi Arabia, where she has held a variety of roles – from
coordinating the French language cooperation at the French embassy in Riyadh, to heading the Alliance Française branch in AlUla, leading
the academic department of Alliance francaise in Panama City, and working in curriculum design, teacher training, and quality monitoring.
Curious, creative, and people-focused, Nabila is exactly the kind of person you would want at the helm of an Alliance française. She is
passionate about intercultural exchange, fascinated by languages, and excited to explore Glasgow’s vibrant arts scene. Her multicultural
background brings a fresh and open-minded perspective to everything she does. In her free time, she is an avid amateur photographer, with a
soft spot for black-and-white and street photography. Her lens has captured stories from around the world through various international
projects.
Bienvenue
Nabila !
