Concert with Les Piques du Rivet - Glasgow

Our partners, the Glasgow branch of the Franco-Scottish Society invite you to a unique concert with Les Piques du Rivet.
There will be an opportunity after the concert to talk to the group, in French or English, and enjoy a glass of wine (or other) with members
of the Society.
About the artists :
Les Piques du Rivet is an ensemble of cellists based in Bordeaux. Most of the musicians studied at the Conservatoire Jacques Thibaud in Bordeaux. Several members both teach and study music, while others continue to play socially alongside mastering other instruments. Notably, it is an all-female orchestra. Their concert programme features a mix of classical works, tangos, film music, and original compositions, including some with a Scottish theme, as well as an arrangement of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica!
