Our partners, the Glasgow branch of the Franco-Scottish Society invite you to a unique free concert with Les Piques du
Rivet.
The Franco-Scottish Society does not have branch in Stirling but they are taking the opportunity of a French touring orchestra to offer
an event to the Francophone and Francophile community of the area. Or even just the curious music-lover!

About the artists :
Les Piques du Rivet is an ensemble of cellists based in Bordeaux. Most of the musicians studied at the Conservatoire Jacques Thibaud in Bordeaux. Several members both teach and study music, while others continue to play socially alongside mastering other instruments. Notably, it is an all-female orchestra. Their concert programme features a mix of classical works, tangos, film music, and original compositions, including some with a Scottish theme, as well as an arrangement of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica!
This event is organised by the Franco-Scottish Society.
