From our progression classes to workshops in special topics, we offer a variety of courses for all levels of French, catering to complete beginners starting their language journey to fluent speakers hoping to sharpen their skills. 


Learning French with Alliance Française de Glasgow

Our academic year is organised in 4 terms of 8 weeks. Enrolement for a class is possible at any point during the year. Our classes are always limited to 15 students* to ensure the best teaching conditions.

How do I join a class ?

If you are a returning student, simply scroll down to find you course and sign up !

If you are a new student, follow these steps: 

  • Find out about our offer and check our course guideline.
  • Create an account on our website
  • Check you level through our online quiz (optional) and book a quick 15-minute phone assessment (strongly recommended).
  • Once you get your results, simply enrol in the corresponding class !
  • Need a book class? Our partners Librairie La Page provide the books we use in class. Check your registration email to claim a 10% discount!

*Please be aware that a minimum of 5 participants is necessary to conduct a class at its full length. If a class begins with 4 students, the duration will be shortened by 30 minutes. The minimum number of participants required to start a class is 4.
